"Preserving Our Dunbar Heritage"

1900-1964

The twentieth century history of Dunbar reflects the struggle for Black students and spanned over 64 years with wars, the Great Depression, segregation and integration leaving their mark.  It is a History of proud enduring parents, teachers, students and those who offered encouragement.
